Huntington just called and they do not have enough players to play tomorrow. They said they will reschedule so hopefully we dont lose games. Everyone have a great weekend and we play at home on Tuesday. Coach Pritchard |

I know alot of people follow this message board, some who want to find out what we are doing and others to see how we are doing. It saddens me to announce that Mr. Paul McClanahan (P - MAC) has decided to retire. I have had the pleasure and honor working for him the last nine years. He has been without question one of our biggest fans and biggest supporters. Not many coaches can say that their principal comes to them and asked if they need anything or what they can do to help. There is alot more I would like to say but I guess really the bottom line is he has made our baseball program at Nitro a winner and I'm proud to say that we let him leave a winner by giving him the 2010 AAA State Baseball Championship. Thanks from the Nitro Baseball Family, you will never be replaced and we will save your seats in the bleachers for you. |

The Junior League baseball tournament starts July 24 and ends July 31 at our field. This is a "MAJOR" fund raiser for the team. We will need EVERYONE'S help including the players. Workers will be needed for the gate, concession stand, and field. This only lasts for 1 week. Please call Lori Harmon or Coach Sneed and tell them when you can help out. Remember.....we need PLAYERS as well. |
